Dynamos 3 – Wokingham and Embrook Black 5 (cup 2nd Round)
Dynamos went into the game with a 100% win record this season, but aware that this would be a difficult game against a Wokingham team placed midway in Division one.
Wokingham started the quicker and broke through and had a shot on goal right from the kick-off, they then put pressure on the Dynamos defence for a few minutes before a quick break fed the ball to Jay who struck first time to put it past the keeper, so Dynamos one up with their first attack – Dynamos 1 – Wokingham 0.
Dynamos had to weather a storm of attacks midway through the first half, Wokingham seemed quicker to the ball and made a serious of chances, luckily Dynamos defence was solid with Jordan in fine form in goal making a number of great saves. During this spell Dynamos only had a couple of efforts on goal with Jay narrowly missing.
The pressure finally got too much and Wokingham got the equalizer, good build up and a smart finish giving Jordan no chance. - Dynamos 1 – Wokingham 1.
The rest of the first half was just edged by Wokingham although just before the half time whistle Dynamos took an unlikely lead with a quick break and a clinical finish by Jay. – Dynamos 2 – Wokingham 1.
The second half started as the first with Wokingham having more of the ball and creating more of the chances, their second attack seeing their second equalizer. - Dynamos 2 – Wokingham 2.
Dynamos looked a bit shell shocked by now and Wokingham had their best spell having several attacks on the Dynamos goal. Felix and Ru had near misses for Dynamos before the Wokingham onslaught brought them their third goal and took them into the lead. – Dynamos 2 – Wokingham 3.
Felix narrowly missed getting the equalizer with a well placed header before Wokingham, on a quick counter attack, scored again. – Dynamos 2 – Wokingham 4.
To their credit Dynamos kept going and the last 5 minutes saw each team attacking in waves. Charlie and Ru had chances before a fantastic mazy run by Felix saw him being tripped in the box, penalty to Dynamos. Unfortunately Felix missed the penalty and everyone could see how gutted he was. Charlie followed up with a shot before Wokingham scored on the break. – Dynamos 2 – Wokingham 5.
Dynamos could have given up and collapsed at this point, but they didn’t and pushed hard to get back in the game, at this point Dynamos were the better team and the persistence paid off with the goal of the game, a cracking, curving volley into the corner of the net by jay, giving him a hat trick and well deserved man of the match. - Dynamos 3 – Wokingham 5.
The last minute saw Felix coming close to a fourth Dynamos goal before the final whistle went. Disappointment for Dynamos as they tasted defeat for the first time this season but they can be proud of their performance and their never give up attitude, well played lads!

Dynamos v Woodley town Kestrels
Dynamos 4 – Woodley Town Kestrels 2
Dynamos went into the game with a 100% win record this season, placing them clear at the top of the table so confidence and expectation was high. However they were missing their keeper, Jordan, so Ru and Charlie admirably took up the goal keeping duties each playing one half in goal.
Dynamos started attacking straight away and had a number of early efforts on goal. Ru, Travis, Felix and Harrison all had chances but just couldn’t get the ball in the net.
Woodley then made a couple of chances but Charlie, looking assured in goal, kept them out. Alarm bells started to ring and Dynamos went on the offensive with a series of shots by Ru which tested the Woodley keeper before Felix broke free and put a cracking shot into the corner of the net. – Dynamos 1 – Woodley 0.
Dynamos were quickly on the attack again following the restart with Jay coming close to making it 2 – 0 but with almost the last kick of the first half Woodley broke with a counter attack and good finish which gave Charlie no chance of saving. – Dynamos 1 – Woodley 1.
Dynamos came out for the second half with added determination to win. Ru took over in goal from Charlie for the second half.
Dynamos started to pass the ball around quicker as they upped the tempo; they were dominating the game at this point. Near misses by Charlie and Felix were followed by Dynamos second goal. The ball broke out of the box after a corner and Hayden hit it first time, it amazingly went through 3 defenders and keeper into the corner of the goal, Hayden and the team were delighted a rare goal for Hayden and Dynamos deservedly back in front. – Dynamos 2 – Woodley 1.
Woodley kept trying hard to equalize but thanks to several excellent saving tackles by Travis they were kept out. Travis, in a central midfield role, was covering every inch of the pitch, defending one minute then setting up an attack the next. This earned him a deserved man of the match award.
Dynamos were now swamping the Woodley defence creating chance after chance. The third goal finally came when Charlie completed a fine run down the left wing and slotting the ball in from a tight angle, a great goal. - Dynamos 3 - Woodley 1.
Dynamos kept up the relentless pressure and this was rewarded when Felix scored his second a great finish after a storming run at the Woodley defence. – Dynamos 4 – Woodley 1.
In the dying seconds a lapse in concentration by the Dynamos defence let Woodley in for a late conciliation goal. - Dynamos 4 – Woodley 2.
So another deserved win by Dynamos, particularly the second half performance means that its six wins out of six. Next week it’s the first round of the cup, so hopefully a winning start to the league and cup double this season!! Well played Dyanamos!

Dynamos 4 - CavershamTrents 0
Dynamos recorded their fifth straight win with a convincing 4 – 0 victory over Caversham. This takes their lead to 6 points at the top of the table.
However it didn’t start according to plan. Seeming to take their key from England rugby team (who were playing and being beaten at the same time) Dynamos struggled to get into their normal pass and move rhythm and Caversham were quicker to the ball and tackle. Despite this Dynamos created several first half chances with Felix, Ru and Charlie having efforts at goal.
The best Dynamos chance came to Harrison, a cracking drive from outside of the box clattered the bar with the keeper well beaten.
Dynamos had goalkeeper, Jordan, to thank for keeping the third clean sheet in a row. A series of great first half saves from the birthday boy earned him a deserved man of the match.
The first half ended with both teams level on score and performance.
After a gee up from the Manager and coach, during the half time break, Dynamos stepped out looking like a different team. The passing and moving style was back with a vengeance with the second half being totally dominated by them, they laid siege to the Caversham goal with waave after wave of attack.
Chances by Ru and Charlie were followed by the opening goal a few minutes into the half. The nonstop running at the defence by Felix saw him slot in a close range shot into the corner giving the keeper no chance. - Dynamos 1-0.
Several near misses followed with Travis, Harrison, Ru, Felix, Jay and Charlie all coming close to grabbing Dynamos second goal. Then the ball broke to the edge of the box about 20 yards out, with cries of “hit it” Thomas duly did and thundered an unstoppable shot into the net! – Dynamos 2 – 0.
In-between the onslaught on the Caversham goal the opponents did manage a few attacks during the second half but these were mostly stopped by solid defensive work by Hayden, Thomas and Travis. The couple of shots at the Dynamos goal were dealt with confidently by Jordan.
Into the final few minutes, with Felix terrorising the Caversham defence, the ball broke out to Charlie who made no mistake with a cracking shot. – Dynamos 3 -0.
This was quickly followed by another Dymamos goal, Charlie grabbing his second with a clinical finish to a good Dynamos move giving the keeper no chance. Dynamos 4 -0.
A game of two halves then, with a second half attacking display that can only be described as awesome for Dynamos! Well played Dynamos, fantastic performance!!

Dynamos v Whiteknights
Dynamos 3 - Whiteknights 0
An enthralling and tense match was won deservedly by Dynamos with 3 late second half goals.
This takes their winnining start to four out of four and extends their lead at the top of the table.
Both teams looked to get forward and get shots on target right from the off. Jay, harrison and Felix all making the Whiteknights defense work hard. Whitenights had their fair share of attacks as well but were cut out mostly by resolute defending by Thomas, Travis and Hayden. When called into action Jordan made two excellent saves, tipping fierce shots over the bar on both occassions.
As the first half wore on the quick rotation of subs, by Dean, kept Dynamos fresh, Whiteknights didn't have any subs and this started to show as Dynamos pressured their goal more and more towards the end of the first half with Ru, Felix and Charlie all coming close to scoring. Whiteknights still threatened and had a couple of near chances just before the half time whistle.
The second half began the same as the first with end to end attacks. Jay broke up several Whiteknights attacks then turned them into Dynamo attacks, great tracking back and support in attack earned Jay the man of the match.
Continued attacks by Dynamos came close to breaking the deadlock with shots by Felix, Harrison and Travis.
The breakthrough came 10 minutes from the end, a terrific corner from Charlie was headed home by Ru, a great header and deserved reward for his captains performance. The relief was immense, probably more so for the parents and supporters on the touchline who errupted into celebrations! - Dynamos 1 - 0
After the restart Dynamos immediately broke up an attack, a fantastic through ball by Travis found Charlie whose shot into the corner of the net gave the keeper no chance! - Dynamos 2 - 0
Dynamos keept up the pressure and resolute defending, everyone putting in 100% effort and determination to keep a clean sheet.
A couple of Dynamos corners and near misses were followed by the killer 3rd goal just before the final whistle, Felix's trickery on the right hand side of the box gave him space to crack a powerful shot that the defender could only divert into the goal with his attempted block. - Dynamos 3 - 0.
The final whistle was greeted with rousing applause. A fantastic win against one of the main rivals for the title, Dynamos playing football that was a credit to themselves their, manager and coach. A terrific performance lads, well done one and all!!
